Brad Mullen

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), dedicated to serving the greater Seattle Area. My journey in the field of mental health care began as a counselor in the Highline public schools district, where I acquired extensive expertise over 8 years, primarily focusing on providing Solutions Focused Brief Therapy to young adults. During my tenure as a high school counselor, I offered invaluable support to students struggling with various mental health issues such as anxiety, substance abuse, depression, and self-harm/suicidal thoughts.
What I feel sets me apart is my genuine commitment to working with marginalized individuals and our BIPOC community. I firmly believe that access to mental health care should be equitable for all, regardless of background or circumstance. My dedication led me to seek additional training and experiences, including a DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) externship at DBT Eastside.
Currently, I operate as a contractor at DBT Eastside, where I provides therapeutic services to a diverse clientele, including adults, tweens, and teens.
In a field that demands compassion, empathy, and cultural sensitivity, I want to stand as an advocate for inclusivity and equality in mental health care, ensuring that everyone, especially marginalized individuals and people of color, can access the support and care they need to thrive.
